ERROR_8821A52453 when trying to download macOS Big Sur

Hello,

I recently formated my iMac end 2014, running on Big Sur. SSD fully erased.

I now want to reinstall Big Sur from an USB driver at the start ( #R) .I did it already a couple of time, no stranger to this process. Without the USB drive Installer, I can only install Yosemite as only option offered from the iMac.

My issue is : connected to the App Store on my old MacBook Pro 2010 running on High Sierra, I cannot download download Big Sur. Appears this ERROR_8821A52453.

Is there any way to download it from my MacBook Pro or my iMac.

Das funktioniert so nicht. Du kannst den Installer nur auf ein von der jeweiligen Version von macOS unterstützes Macbook herunterladen. Du könntest aber versuchen, den Installer von hier aus zu laden: https://mrmacintosh.com/macos-big-sur-full-installer-database-download-directly-from-apple/

Thank you Netcracker.

I will try this option from Mr Macintosh.

I was also thinking to first download Highsierra from my MBP to an USB driver. Install High Sierra on the Imac.

Then download BigSur from the iMac and finally install it.

Sounds good right ?
