Icloud verification failed

Hello!

I have an old Apple ID (***) that I still have access to — I know the password and the phone number linked to it.

But I cannot accept the new terms and conditions — I get a “Verification Failed – There was a problem connecting to the server” error.

Because of this, I’m not able to sign out of iCloud on my iPhone.

I want to create a new Apple ID, but I can’t sign out of the old one.

Please help me either fix the verification issue or help me sign out.
