MacBookPro (M1 Max, 2021) not waking from sleep
I got a strange issue and would be happy to get some inputs from the community.
The problem first started a year ago after I updated to macOS Sequoia. Suddenly my MacBook Pro wasn't waking up from sleep anymore after some hours of sleeping. Opening the lid or pressing any buttons - including the power button - wouldn't work. Only a hard/forced reboot helped. I tried different things/tips found online including re-installation, analyzing the logs and different power settings - no effect. But I noticed, that this only happened, when the MacBook Pro was plugged in into the power source. If it was not plugged in, it woke up normally.
I was therefore able to circumvent the problem most of the times by just not leaving the MacBook Pro plugged in, when not in use.
Now, (exactly) since the update to macOS Tahoe the MacBook Pro won't wake up anymore, even if not plugged in.
I retried all the "old" tips mentioned above - again no effect. Only hard/forced restart helps.
Since both times the problem correlated directly to an mac OS Update, it seems rather to be a software than a hardware problem.
Any ideas on what to try next?
Thank you in advance for your help!
