Not eligible for a refund
The situation is this: my 5 years old son accidentally activated a free trial in Duolingo, and after the trial ended it automatically charged me for a full one year subscription. I did not realize this happened until the money was taken. I did not intend or authorize a yearly subscription. As soon as I found it, I cancelled the subscription and submitted a refund report, the automated refunded system denied my first and second requests and now I am not able to ask again into the system. This was clearly a child initiated accidental purchase, and the amount is a financial burden for me.
I am kindly asking if you could please review this case as an exemption. I fully respect Apple's policies 15 years already, I am only requesting a one-time consideration due to the circumstances.
