Opening jpegs automatically without Command I

I need my jpeg images to open in Photoshop instead of Preview, so how do I make Photoshop my default app to open images WITHOUT having to use Command I, and having Photoshop open up anytime I open a .jpg? Is there something in System Preferences?

You need to use the Command + i key combination just once:

Once you've set the default to Photoshop it's a simple double click away.

You select an arbitrary .jpeg and press command+i. In the Open With: section, change the default application from Preview to Photoshop, and the click through the Change All… button. If you have both .jpg and .jpeg do this for each spelling.

The first paragraph is a one-time change, and afterwards, Photoshop will by default open your jpg files.
