Location not available
once in a while, when I check my bfs location, it’ll be locating then suddenly say “Location not Available” and then give me his location. Does this mean he turned it off through location services?

Apart from what you have said, there are other possibilities as listed below
- His phone is out of Cellular network service range
- His phone could be switched off
- May be he is on a flight and in Airplane mode
- His phone may be in numerous dead service zones which exists
