Screen rotation is locked!

From the top right hand side of your iPad, slide down to bring up control center. Look for the icon with a lock in it. Tap that icon to restore rotation to your iPad.

Note: Not all Apps rotate, but if nothing does on your iPad the solution above is what you need.
