Apple music subscription

My apple music subscription just updated and i got billed, but I didn’t get email about that, i found that i have billed when i was managing subscriptions. My question is, am I able to be notified by email about subscription renewal?

All receipts are emailed to your Apple ID email account. Search for “your receipt from Apple”


  • if you want to be notified whenever a receipt is sent to you from Apple, then tap the address it comes from and “add to VIP”. Then go into settings on how you’d like VIP mail to notify you.


Note: receipts are emailed after the charge goes through.


  • In your subscriptions you can manage the membership there, as in monthly, yearly or cancel


View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

you can do this on your phone in settings or as instructed in the above link 

Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.

Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.

Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.

Tap the subscription that you want to manage. ...

Use the options to manage your subscription.
