I have a new laptop. I have just downloaded itunes on it and linked it to my desktop hard drive where I have all my music and videos - I rip all my CDs and DVD for use with my ipad
In itunes the "Home Videos" option has disappeared and cant be found in the Library Edit list?
Have Apple really removed the ability for me to view my films on my devise?

The Home Videos section of the library may currently be hidden. To access it go to the Movies section, enable the sidebar, then click the word Edit that should appear to the right of the word Library at the top of the sidebar if you move the cursor there. Put a tick next to Home Videos, then click Done.

Have you imported at least one video file such that the section is needed? See Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community for advice on moving the library so that all of the content works properly.

I have now imported the library and the option appears. Thanks for all your help. I just need to try to get them to my iPad now

Many thanks for this but the Home |Videos option does not appear. I think it could be a library issue given that its a new lap top so I'll try that first.
