I cannot get rid of the bookmark sidebar on the I pad. Any ideas?
Just tap the blue Bookmarks icon next to the url field and the sidebar will go away.

If tapping on the Bookmarks icon will not remove the sidebar, remove Safari from your recent Apps, and/or restart your iPad.
