Hello. I rented a movie under my Apple ID on our AppleTV. I tried to stream the movie on my sons iPad who has a different Apple ID. The rented movie did not appear anywhere, But the purchased movies under my Apple ID still appeared. I’m wondering if it is even possible to family share a rented movie with two different Apple ID’s Thank you for any input.

No, rentals cannot be shared. Only actual purchases.

As far as I'm aware it's only purchases that be shared, not rentals.
