Mail stuck "Moving messages" and constantly saving drafts

Hello,

Sometime has gone by since this last problem. so I'd like to see if there is a solution by now. I have a macOS High Sierra and have the same problem: my draft folder doesn't seem to be working properly/or there are some issues related with that.

-- First of all, for any message that I write, at least 20 messages are saved continuously in the draft folder,

by the end of the day I have hundreds of new messages in the Draft mailbox for only a few emails sent.

-- When I go to try to delete these messages, the Mail app remains stuck at "Moving messages" forever, probably affecting the issues I have of checking my inbox.

Any suggestion of what to do?

Mail>Preferences, highlight Account>Mailbox behaviors, set Save drafts to an On My Mac box...
