After migrating data from old to new MacBook, it seems all folders/files are being "stored"/accessed from iCloud and not stored on my HD? Functioning fine but I would like everything on my HD and not just in iCloud? Further convinced because only a small portion of the HD shows in use... Help? Did something go haywire during data migration?

Perhaps you have set up “Store in iCloud” as described here. Undo this if you wish.
