XS max zoomed in

I just upgraded from the iPhone 8 + to the iPhone XS max, and one thing i found really disturbing is that the front facing camera is so zoomed in compared to the iPhone 8+. Is this someting i can fix by myself or is it coming in a later ios uppdate?

It is not the iOS, it is the hardware. If you not zoom out with your fingers, you have reached the widest angle of that hardware.
