MacBook 12 early 2015 ans 4K

I think that since Sierra my MacBook 12 retina early 2015 can handle 4k@60Hz if used with displayportcable

1- Am I correct?

2- what about connecting through USBC to a 4k monitor that accepts this kind of input (I find it very handy to avoid a hub and just connect one cable)

Also if someone has effectively connected this model (not the 2016 one) to a 4k monitor at 60hz can you give me feedback and advice?

Thanks

Pierre

Are you sure?

On this

I read

"With macOS Sierra, MacBook (2015 and later) supports 4K (3840 x 2160) displays at 60Hz over DisplayPort."
