Screenshot cut off

When I take a screenshot and send it, the top and bottom get cut off. Is there a way to fix that? The entire screenshot shows up in photos, but is cut off when I send in text messages. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I'm understanding correctly, you are not seeing the full screenshot displayed when sending it. I will be glad to assist.

Screenshots sent will be displayed smaller in the message thread, however when viewing the screenshot in your message thread, tap on it, and it should open to display the top and bottom portions.
