Photos from iPad 3 to iCloud.

In order to move photos from a device to iCloud the device needs to be running the most up to date software. Unfortunately an iPad 3 is unable to upgrade, so how can I move my photos on the iPad to iCloud?

You should be able to turn on iCloud Photo Library on an iPad 3 running iOS 9.3.5.

Go to Settings->iCloud->Photos->iCloud Photo Library to turn it on.
