I finally cancelled my bank card and I am now getting notifications for all the items that have been charging me for who knows how long 4.99, 12.99, 29.99 .... I will not use my app store until someone stops this madness and I feel totally entitled to refunds from several applications.

In terms of refunds purchases are obviously considered final as you know, but you could try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund any of your recent purchases as a one-off : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
Or you can try contacting iTunes Support via : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
