Search engine going to Bing

Please, can someone advise how to stop my search engine going to Bing instead of Google. I have cleared the history and the caches, have checked extensions and in preferences have type apple.com and restarted it but still continues to change from google to bing. Does it have anything to do with an App I can't seem to get rid of, namely Malware bytes ?? thanks

Malwarebytes (https://www.malwarebytes.com/) is for removing things like Bing. Are you sure your Malwarebytes came from their website? The free version should be all you need.

For Malwarebytes, it may be necessary to run more than one scan. After scanning a couple of times, restart the computer and test. If necessary, follow the manual instructions.  Do not download any other programs that are listed in the articles.   Malwarebytes uninstall
