will not turn off

Hi mandyneef,

Try force restart your iPhone X following these steps:

1. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button.
2. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button.
3. Press and hold the Side button (for about 10s) until the device restarts.

If Siri pops up between step 2 and 3, then you haven't pressed the volume buttons correctly and should try again.

You can turn off your XS going to Settings>General... then scroll down to the very bottom (last option = turn down).
