Your iTunes backups have nothing to do with your iCloud backups. If you delete the backup in iTunes, the backup in iCloud will still exist. If the photos are in the backup in iCloud you are fine, but keep backing up.


If you use iCloud Photos, and you delete the photos on any device, they will be deleted everywhere.
