Iwatch not pairing with a new phone

I recently followed all the steps to unpaired my watch from my iphone due to the fact that I do not own the iPhone anymore so I could not used the watch. But, the second party cannot pair the new phone to my iwatch. Eventhought I unpaired and I eased it from my iCloud as well. What can we do?

Thanks,

Carolina

Hopefully you still remember your Passcode. If so get with your friend and:

Here's how to prepare it for selling.

  1. Open the “Settings” app on the Apple Watch and go to “General.”
  2. Scroll down and choose “Reset
  3. Tap on “Erase All Content and Settings”
  4. Enter the passcode for the Apple Watch.
  5. Scroll down and confirm you wish to reset the Apple Watch and erase all datafrom the device.
