This is the second time in three months I’ve received the same thing. When you click the link, it takes you directly to apples website. So I’m really confused.

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article. below.

You might want to consider changing your password and making sure it is a strong one. You can also add 2 Factor Authentication to your account for more security. If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.
