Issue with raw photos on photos app- MacBook Pro

I took raw photos on my Sony a7r2 and imported them directly to adobe elements for raw processing. Once I imported them to the apple photos app, they appear like the edited version until I view the photo for a few seconds and then it automatically reverts to the original image I took.

Anyone else having this issue?

Using MacBook Pro with touchbar, adobe elements. All latest versions.

This is expected behavior.

Photos has no idea what raw processing Adobe did, and so starts from scratch with its own Raw processing. The momentary image you see is the jpeg preview.

If you really want to do this, you will have to create a jpeg or Tiff in adobe with your raw changes.
