Suspicious Phone call from "Apple"

I just received a phone call from 1-800 *** 5887 saying it's from "Apple security" warning me about not making any financial transactions on my i phone until the matter is solved. It prompted me to enter "1" on my keypad.

Does this sound legit??

No, I've never heard Apple making phone calls about security (except for giving you a verification code - 6 digits . Two factor Authentications).
