iPad not updating

I requested software update over 12 hours ago. Good WiFi connection and speed. iPad fully charged. Still at update requested and no estimate of time remaining. What should I do now

I think it’s an iPad mini 2 but I’m not sure what version it was running before.

Mice now spoken to Apple Support and have resolved the problem. Thank you
