Audiobooks on iPhone 6

Are audiobooks available on iPhone 6? I have updated to iOS 12 but the audiobook icon is still missing when I open the Books app.

Yes, audiobooks aren't available from iTunes there

Audiobooks not showing on Books App search Hi, Following article: Listen to audiobooks in Apple Books - Apple Support (MT) I seem to be unable to find audiobooks anywhere and I don’t have the option to specifically search for audiobooks only for instance. I’ve checked all the settings and reinstalled the app. Updated also to iOS16.1. Screenshots included. For example I am searching for Atomic Habits by James Clear which I know for a fact has an audiobook version but only the readable one shows up. IOS16 I'm trying to download audible: Audio Entertainment on my IPAD Air2 but apparently my IPAD air2 isn't compatible, will Apple bring out an update to IOS 16 or is there another audiobooks app that is as good that I would be able to download to get books for my holidays? Kind Regards Lisa

The phone model isn't relevant, the Audiobooks tab at the bottom of the app will only show if audiobooks are available to buy from iTunes in your country. What country are you in ?
