If you were syncing Messages to iCloud and the texts were deleted, they can't be recovered. If you weren't syncing Messages to iCloud, restore from your backup. Restoring from a backup erases all data currently on your device. Any data newer than when the backup was made will be erased. A restore is an all or nothing restore. You can't access a backup and only restore certain files.

The only way to restore message from 1 sender; is to erase the phone and restore from backup?? That’s ridiculous! You would have to go to the nightmare of login in; into every single app! No sense !!
