How can I change the email hyperlink to Outlook instead of Chrome browser

Hi,

When I click on an webpage email link in Chrome or Mozilla, Chrome opens a window with my gmail. Is it possible to change that Mac behavior so when I click on a web email link, Outlook will open?

Thank you in advance.

Change the default browser or email client on your Mac - Apple Support

You can set the default email application in Apple’s Mail.app Preferences, to any installed client. The ‘mailto:’-links should honor that preference, although Chrome may try to keep things within Chrome. Possibly also check Chrome Preferences on this behavior.
