The Apple website states "If you have an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV, you already have the Apple TV app — the ultimate way to watch Apple TV+. " My MacBook Air 10.14.6 does not have the app and is not available when searched in the App Store.

Now I’m confused, my MacBook is on the list but it never updates past 10.9.5. I thought it was done bring current.
Mine is on the list also, and is currently at 10.14.6. However, mine is the newest one on the list. I got lucky and found an open one at BestBuy that was $280 off. The 24 months no interest made it $33 a month. I couldn't pass it up.

Do you have an Apple TV? The app is a part of it. And, it will be available with Mac OS Catalina.
I can’t get one on mine either. I think it requires a later iOS version.

The Apple TV app is available on other iOS devices like iPad. Older devices don’t have it

I just got my new MacBook Air 2019 (10.14.6) and the tv App is t on it. I assume we need to wait until Catalina comes out?
