Backtrack your Recent Locations.
Call the most recent location you visited, and find out if it was kindly set aside (i.e. a coffee shop, retailer, library, school, work). Perhaps someone dropped it off to local law enforcement. You never know.
So, contact whomever is. It’s worth a go.
