How to download MP3 versions of Podcasts?

I just got a swim MP3 player that only accepts MP3 or WMA. I was wondering how to download Podcasts in those formats so I can listen to them on this MP3 player?

Download it to your computer in the format chosen by its creator, and then use iTunes or another program to convert the file.
