Right after updating to Catalina and also updating Safari , popup warning appeared ,about APMHelper being harmful to the computer and should be moved to the Bin .IT will not respond to Remove click .Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks.

Your notebook may have an adware/malware "infection." I suggest that you try using either or both EtreCheck and/or Malwarebytes for Mac to both detect and remove it.
