I can no longer see all the movies I have on my iMac

After upgrading all my devices, I find that I can no longer view any of my movies on my Apple TV. I have dozens of movies that I have ripped onto iTunes in the past and I was able to view them on the TV. This isn't possible now. I realize that those movies are now on the AppleTV app on my Mac. But why can't I view this on my AppleTV device (connected to my TV)?

Apple always manages to mess with my mind when I upgrade to the new OS.

Silly me, thinking that because my movies on the Mac are now on the TV app, it would be the same on the AppleTV device. No, I have to disregard the TV app there and use the Computer app.

Thanks for the tip on Home Sharing. I figured since it was set up already that I wouldn't have to find a way to resume Sharing with 10.15.

I've only been using OSX since 2002. You'd think I would have a handle on it!
