Question

Catalina and web pages

Since upgrading to Catalina I can’t open certain web sites especially BBC. This happens on Safari and Google Chrome.

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

Did you install ny third party apps that claim to protect your computer?

Try a different browser.

Try quitting Safari then launch Safari while pressing and holding the shift key.

Remove any proxies or VPN.

Hi. Thanks. I don’t have any VPNs or proxies. The only 3rd party app running is Sophos. I’ve tried to quit safari and open again but same issue. The same issue also happens with Google Chrome. It’s not every website but nearly every second or third site that fails to load

Uninstall Sohos.
