iphone 11 - deleting messages

I place my finger loosely on an app and it give a little haptic feedback and a context menu with [Share <Apps name>] and Rearrange apps show up if I choose Rearrange apps they wiggle and display a black circle with and X in it in their upper left corner, if clicked upon the app is deleted.

you have always been able to delete a message threat by sliding to the left on it in the list

you can also tab and hold , it will display some emotes over the item in thread and display copy and more at the buttom
