Microsoft office not compatible with MacOS

I keep getting MacOS is not optimized for Microsoft Office. Anyone have any info on when MS will be optimized or is this a way to push users to a new version of MS Office or Apple's productivity tools?

Thanks ... Sandy

Which version of MS Office are you using with your Mac? Microsoft no longer supports Office 2011 or earlier with macOS Mojave. If you are running Office 2011, you will need to upgrade to, at least, Office 2016 or get an Office 365 subscription so that you can keep up with the Office updates.
