iCloud and music files

Assume I have music on iTunes on my Mac. Assume I want to access this music using my iPad. Assume my Mac is using iCloud Drive and that my iPad is signed into iCloud. My question: Does all this music load on my iPad, or is it merely accessible when logged into the cloud? I only have a 16 gig iPad, and many, many songs on my Mac, so this is an important concern.

Hi,

You don’t use iCloud Drive to get music on to your iPad.
