Can I connect a Magic Mouse 2 to my new iPad Pro?
Hello,
Apple states in Settings that Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad are not supported.
That being said there is a work around.
Turn off Magic Mouse
Disable Assistive Touch
Open Settings > Switch Control > Switches > Bluetooth
Hold down the Mouse Button while turning on the bottom Magic Mouse switch. The indicator light should now flash.Â
Select Magic Mouse on your iPad.
Now enable Assistive Touch.

Spot on! Thanks for your help :)
ps just so everyone knows; when you switch your iPad off all you have to do is hold the click button on the mouse for a second to reactivate it when you switch your iPad back on.
You are welcome!
