logitech mx anywhere 2 not showing in bluetooth devices. Works fine on PC.

After Sierra 10.13.xx update my Logitech mx anywhere 2 doesn't show up in my bluetooth device list. Works fine on my PC (instant connection). I have reinstalled drivers, installed logitech control centre, reset bluetooth module (i.e. shift+opt click BT icon, reset module or remove all devices) ; Nothing works. It is a macbook pro and shouldn't have these basic core glitches. Interestingly high sierra also has audio crackling issues. Not going to buy another mac as I was a mac supporter because they worked...now I'm not so sure.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?
