Why Can't I Use AirPlay On My MacBook Pro In Mac OS Catalina?

I recently updated the Mac OS on my MacBook Pro to Catalina and the AirPlay display disappeared. When I went into System Preferences > Displays and looked for the AirPlay option on the pop-up window, this is all I get:

It only lets me select "Off" and the "Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available" option is checked. Why can't I use AirPlay in Mac OS Catalina? Is my computer "too old"? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm using:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

2.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 (Processor)

8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 (Memory)

Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB (Graphics)

MacBook Pro Retina
