My Series 4 Apple Watch wont charge or restart. No matter how long I hold down any of the buttons, the apple logo won't pop up.

Okay, so I tried plugging it in through the USB on my laptop and it's charging now. Anyone know why this would happen?
What was your Watch plugged into before your computer?
Check your plug that you are using might have a fault?
It was plugged into the wall. I tried a couple different outlets.
It’s not the cord because the same cord that worked on the laptop was the one that didn’t work in the wall.
So the plug or usb socket on the wall works with out devices?
Yes, they work with other devices.
