I have already activated the 7 days trial for Apple TV+. After that I purchased a new Macbook pro. I think I should get a year free Apple TV+, but now I have no way to activate it, both apple tv app and page only show the subscribe button.
So where can I get my free 1 year discount?

I contact with Apple support, and they gave me a promotional code to redeem a free year Apple tv plus. Receipt of device is required. I spent about a week to communicate an Apple supporter named Elaine by email. And finally they help me solve the problem.
The support documents do not detail this. Contact Apple Support for more details. (And please report back here so we all can learn from it.)
