iPad 6th gen, software 13.2.3. My virtual keyboard appears in the center of my screen after the latest software update. It covers the text fields I’m trying to type into. How can I shift it back to the bottom?

Try performing a pinch-in gesture on the keyboard to return it to full size.
I figured it out. Touch and hold the keyboard icon (lower right of the keyboard) then drag it to where you want it. I didn’t realize it had a floating feature.
Virtual Keyboard shifted to the center of my display.
