can you get mp3 files from itunes?

Hello, is it possible to get mp3 files from iTunes instead of mp4 please?

If you're referring to the iTunes Store, no, but you can convert them yourself unless they're Apple Music tracks or very old purchases.

If you're referring to songs you import from CDs, click here and follow the instructions.

Ok so you mean change the import settings in iTunes? Seems the guy used an app named "Tidal" so the music is purchased through that app. I am thinking best he simply download directly from iTunes with the mp3 option and settings?

I told him to get rid of Tidal app. Then we tried changing the setting for mp3 at 162 then he downloaded a tune from iTunes, the file path showing in iTunes preferences ends with "iTunes Media" but the downloaded tune does not show in that folder?
