how to change the duration of multiple clips in the time line from the start of the clip

is there a way to change the duration of multiple clips from the start of the clip 

We have multiple clips and need the reduce the duration from the start of clip

however when using control D the duration form the end is reduced not the start


how to change the duration keeping the end point the same


please help

Here is a way:


1) Select the clips

2) Modify->Retime->Reverse Clip

3) Control-D, change duration

4) Modify->Retime->Reverse Clip
