iPhone calls still coming to iPad

I have an iphone and an ipad. My elementary age son uses the ipad to facetime with his friend. In Facetime settings I have calls from iphone off, and have it set so that I can be reached by facetime at my email only. I have handoff turned off. On my phone I have it set so that I can only be reached by my cell #, not my email. And yet if I have FaceTime turned on for the ipad, phone calls to my cell # will ring on my ipad unless I turn Facetime completely off.

I guess I can appreciate Apple's goal of a seamless user experience, but I want calls going to my phone, not the ipad my child is using.
