How can I sign into iCloud to find my iPhone using two factor authentication, when my phone is lost?

When your iPhone is lost, and you try to log into iCloud to use the Find My iPhone app, but the login page asks you to authenticate your login by entering the 6-digit code they sent to your iPhone...

What's the solution?

(Note: I did find my phone on my own, but I'm worried about next time!)

You can sign into icloud.com/find without a two-factor code (note the /find).

Another option is to log into icloud.com (without the /find) and when asked for the two-factor code, ignore it and lick the Quick Access to Find My icon below the two-factor code window.
