Portrait mode not works fine

When I try to edit a photo which had been took in portrait mode, there is no adjustable blurness and missing f aperture icon too. Do you know guys what could be the problem?

It’s a used phone(new for me) and I am afraid it has a mechanical problem.

You probably refer to the Advanced Bokeh / Depth Control effect.

Your signature says you have the iPhone X. Advanced Bokeh isn't supported with the iPhone X.

iPhone X is from 2017, and the Advanced Bokeh / Depth Control feature was introduced with the iPhone Xs (Max) and iPhone Xr, both from 2018.

You need one of those phones (or the 2019 models instead) to make use of this feature.

But you can also use a third-party app instead, try the Focos app in the App Store.
