Safari, Autofill

On the otherwise inferior Firefox and Safari there exists a helpful “auto-fill” feature that’s lacking on Safari.  The so-called ‘auto-fill’ on Safari will, according to Apple-Care, autofill for ONLY a site that has been visited previously.

On Firefox and Chrome, the instant my e-mail gets typed into any site, new or familiar, all the other relevant items of personal information fill in automatically.  It’s convenient and a time-saver.

Please get Safari to behave in this sensible manner.

Also, please provide a link for users to directly address developers on matters of this nature.

Thanks,  KB

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
